Monday. Back to work for me after a pleasant weekend. Saw Philomena; was not disappointed. Otherwise took it easy. The Pats lost on Sunday, missing out on a chance to secure the number one seed for the playoffs - they're continuing to make heavy weather of finishing off the season. Ah well; the fact it's never a sure thing keeps me watching to see what will happen next.

While I was at the office, K organized a plumber to install the new kitchen faucet we bought yesterday. I had kept the other one going for extra years with washer and valve transplants but it had developed another leak and needed to be put out of our misery.
