Embrace The City

I've pinched myself a few times and now I know it's true - it is summer, we are wearing shorts and the air has some secret enthusing ingredient, so (subconsciously) dreamt of and cherished.
Auckland is vibrant and modern, exotic and surprisingly hilly - after all, some of its parks have been cultivated around long expired volcanoes.

The capture above is taken from the Sky Tower in the city centre - while enjoying the views from the 60th level, I was taken by surprise by two bungee jumpers (the unexpected sight of a falling body is a bit unnerving actually). I focused on the safety ropes and it wasn't long before there was some disturbance in their slow swinging and I knew someone was being strapped up a deck...
