Cave temple

This small 120 years old temple is located in a cave. There is a big hole in the ceiling where the light and air comes in.

The small stony and steep path over two small mountains to the cave was quite challenging, about 1,5 kilometers long.

The Phraya Nakhon Cave is located about 45 minutes drive from Hua Hin to the South. The cave was first discovered during King Nari’s reign (1629 – 1688), more than 300 years ago and it is located within the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. The guide told us that the King has visited the temple twice.
