So lots of things happened today. One of them was I went out to try and take a picture of the moon. It was big and yellow.....Then a loud bang and some old guy flaked out in the middle of the busy road and his scooter skating off further along. Had to quickly drag his scooter out of the road and call the emergency services. He'd staggered to the edge of the road and was capable of speech but clearly disorientated. Police, fire and ambulance all arrived. The guy got stretchered away. He was saying something caught in his wheel. I thought he'd been side swiped by a truck.

No thanks to the senior high school punk who didn't stop but big thanks to the construction worker who was on his way home but did. Hope the guy is OK. There was no blood and he could talk though after the shock had set in he seemed to have hurt his back and knee. How bad, I don't know.

So, though this is probably the worst photograph of the day, it is the one that got uploaded.

Got the prezzies and cards posted, took baby for his one month checkup, he's 5.5kg now. Also sampled the sauerkraut that I made. Kind of pails in comparison. Also the moon shots were rubbish.
