Second Valley

A lovely day had cruising across the Southern Fleurieu with my cousin. A very interesting rocky beach with just a smidge of perfect sand for bathing (not in the picture). This was taken on a little headland which juts out and is cut off from the mainland at high tide. It's full of old bits left over from when fisher folk used it to house their boats on it... winching them up over the rocks out of the water.

Ruby rolled in a dead seal. This was not nice... not nice at all. Two sea baths later she still stank and we drove home with all the windows down. A fresh water wash helped a little more and then the worst was tackled with some eucalyptus wool wash. A day later and she still wafts a little. (this is a back blip).
