Nuts Anyone?

No time for photography today, super busy at work all day, walkies with Bonnie and a 7km run. Am so glad I got out there! The weather has cooled off so much today! It was breezy and cloudy and lovely to be out it - everybody else thought so too!

During my walks with Bonnie in the dog park lately I've been collecting natural browse for a red-tail black cockatoo we've had in hospital for quite a few weeks now. Red-tails are notoriously difficult feeders in captivity and our boy has been no exception. Since he came in he's been getting crop fed on formula twice a day, but over the weekend he started cracking a little bit of seed and chewing on these lemon scented gum nuts. YAY! Luckily for him there is a tree that I can collect from daily so he has a constant supply available to him :)

Sorry for my serious lack of comments and replying again at the moment. It's that time of year! And life just seems to be taking over at the moment!
