Boring blip

I went in late because I was working back so had time to do a final bid of tidying after last night's decorating.

Things are hotting up in the office. N went off with the van keys in his pocket so things weren't delivered or picked up. S and S and N were finalising all the end of term stuff. I'm sure they must wish all this Christmas stuff was over. I thought of something else we hadn't thought about. Where the volunteers put coats, bags etc. I hope we have good weather and therefore no boots. I'm in charge of contacting the emergency services to let them know what we're doing. The man from the ambulance service is my new best friend. I'm also in charge of putting the paperwork together. A very large policy document needs filleted and read.

I can't believe it's Christmas. It's odd since we are doing this big event but I don't feel Christmassy at all. But I did buy the folks present today. More rain than snow.

F briefed the lead volunteers this afternoon and I did more gloom and doom on the 'what ifs'. She was very good.

So a boring blip of the pile of stuff in the middle of the office. Art materials and decorations. We have over 2000 cans of Orangina too!

Must take out my bulbs and marzipan my cake tonight.
