Ringing For The Poor

I always admire the Bell Ringers for the Salvation Army who stand outside stores this time of year. For hours they stand and ring their bell with a smile on their faces, hoping passers-by will drop a few dollars in their pot.

So I do. And I do every time I go to a store. I saw this lady out at 9 pm! There's just something about the Bell Ringers at Christmastime that makes me feel guilty if I walk past them without dropping something into that red hanging pot.
