Medlar beer

Yes, medlar beer! I found a source of medlars and as I have a habit of fermenting things I thought I would try turning them into an American Pale Ale - this is the froth on the wort, in other words a lot of the ingredients boiling together. I have not found any mention of medlar beer and they are a strange fruit both to look at and to taste. At times called 'cats arse' and if you see one you will understand why!
When it is ready I will photograph a pint and say how it tastes!
