Solitary Tree

Dazzling sunshine today, so, putting everything else aside I grabbed a dog and a camera.

Because of the amount of rain we've had down the countryside was just like a mud bath so I sharply changed into the old wellies which were luckily in the car boot. Slipping and skidding over the fields without much luck on the wildlife front, narrowly avoiding a nose dive at one point, decided on a few pictures of trees in the sunshine.

Amazingly a peacock butterfly flew past - not something I expected at all at this time of year.

More of a worry is that I've just picked up my phone and tried to use it as a mouse!
