Ominous

Interesting!

At one point at work I suddenly felt really tired and spaced out, so I went into the resources room to try and chill. And then a lady came in and was talking to Ben about whether she could use the room and stuff, and asked if she could pick up a copy of the newspapers lying on the shelf, so I told her they were last week's and went to get this week's from the front desk... then when she was leaving I held the door open for her cos I was leaving too. And she stopped and said 'thank you for being welcoming'.

Reader, I almost wept.

It's moments like these that make work worthwhile.

Anyway, I'm telling you this because it should help explain my weirdness in Warwick, at least partly!
Sam at work asked a question that coming from any other bloke would sound patronising and presumptuous, but he managed to sound genuinely concerned so I replied, and he told me about his hiding place at work. :) Much appreciated.

Trying to calm down a bit at home.

Side bar: it's satisfying to look back and realise how much one has grown in a few years. Sometimes it's hard to see until you compare situations and relationships, and get a little bit proud of yourself.
