A successful, if expensive day.
Headed into the big smoke in the morning to do a bit of shopping and get some presents for Christmas.

I stopped for a break and had a gingerbread latte and shared a croissant with the littlest. It turns out he is quite the fan of croissants! About the gingerbread latte; a couple of months ago whilst in aberdeen I was in Starbucks and when asked for my order the words came out of my mouth without any connection to my mind. I asked for a gingerbread latte. I would never have asked for it one has my brain been engaged. I think the sound of them sounds vile. I can't imagine how such a drink could be in any way good. But, you know what, I loved it and have been hooked on them since. Costa's are the best. Now I was to try the Black Forest hot chocolate, because although again it sounds disgusting, it might in fact be delicious!

Anyway, shopping complete I came home in time to pack the things away, wrap up some parcels for posting and head up to get the older boys from school.
