Winging it...

I had a meeting booked with one of the largest Cambridge companies today (well yesterday this is a back blip). Although we have worked with them in the past a new part of their company wanted to meet us and see what we can do. 'Just an informal chat' they said.

Informal chat, my arse! I turned up, was shown into a huge, hanger like meeting room full of people and was shown where I could plug in to give my presentation. hahaha

Luckily I don't really get phased by this sort of thing so we just talked, for an hour. I explained about us, they told me about them, we discussed how we might work together in future. Job done.

This evening was Band christmas drinking. We have come a long was in the last year, from a very impromptu thing that started to rehearse a couple of weeks before we needed to play, to a stable line up that rehearses at least once every couple of weeks. We even have a name, I suspect there will be T shirts soon (Bill is sorting out a logo, he is very good at that, the T shirts will be sought after long after the band have split up over musical differences!). We've gone electric, got a drummer..

We discussed our direction and plans for the next year, I'm very excited and will be distributing ear plugs throughout the village over the next few weeks.

All we need now is to learn how to play ;)
