Luke
I have a portrait shoot on Friday (my first paid commission) and so I asked Luke to please sit in as my model so that I could practice the lighting. To be honest I prefer taking portraits in natural light but if it is late in the day and dark outside I will need to use lighting. He was willing to help but not that keen to smile - until I repeated something silly that Thomas had done and we had a good laugh about it.
I also ordered some of my photos printed as large wrap around canvases to display at home, and they arrived today. I am really pleased with the result. I was not sure which printing company to use and after much deliberation opted for Photobox - I cannot fault the finished product.
I must also correct an error I made yesterday, when I said that Luke ate a whole baked Brie - I meant a whole baked Camembert, and the small round not the large ones - he is not that much of a glutton! It is a Christmas special from Waitrose for £4.50 for the Camembert in the ceramic baking dish - you just pop it is the oven. Then you can keep the dish and only buy the cheese for £1.90 and do it all over again! Luke loves eating it with toast soldiers which he dips in the cheese...far too heavy for me!
