Stuck in the mud!

After a morning of working, no complaints the view is stunning from the lodge, we decided to change our travel plans after chatting to Archie the owner of the lodge! Tomorrow we now head into the Drakensberg Mountains which ‘feels’ much better than heading into a city. Once we sorted accommodation out we then headed back to Addo to find the ellies!! Loads were playing in a watering hole but this one made us laugh as he couldn’t get out! After four hours of not seeing anything else due to the heat, we left the park happy that we had seen a few more ellies than yesterday. On the way back to the lodge, we stopped at a rather remote ‘café’. Great service, great wine and fantastic bird song.
Another wonderful day in paradise. Now off to have a glass of wine by the pool before getting ready for dinner.

PS. Two beers and two glasses of very lovely wine cost us £7!!!!
