Nice way to spend an afternoon.

My friend Jackie and her daughter Kirsty came to visit Breesha today. They brought me a lovely scented candle and Breesha a packet of Jambone. Although the weather forecast was dreadful we had a really lovely walk, no rain or wind, just a very pleasant winter's day. When we got back to the house we had the Thai chicken and sweet potato soup I made last night with warm rolls and butter and a nice glass of vino collapso. I'd also made a Madeira cake so we ate quite a lot of that too. It was great catching up, nothing better than enjoying time with my friends. Every now and then I think about retiring, a day like today makes it very attractive.....
