Autumn Leaves

December 18th and Fall, such as it is in the desert, has fell! There aren't all that many deciduous trees around here and they are usually to be found in spots like this - as shade trees in parking lots or lining the edge of suburban light industrial areas.

It still jars me a little to turn into one if those areas at this time of year to see the browning leaves on the trees and on the ground.

Holiday luncheon today so the management bunch will all be off to a nice restaurant for good grub and a few glasses of vino. Then home early. The holiday dinner with the board is Friday night so I'll be off early on Friday afternoon for that too. Party week - pity I don't get to choose the guests.
