Pasada:

In our church we follow a custom originated in Mexico, where a group of people representing the Holy Family travel to find a Posada (Inn) for the night.

Here, in Greystoke , the journey takes the form of a set of model figures, representing the Holy Family, complete with notes, prayer card, candle, DVD, books and a diary.

As it passes round the parish it invites the householders, where it rests overnight, to set aside a special time for reflection and prayer. Detains can then be entered in the Posada Diary. (Children love it!)

Taking part in it can be a surprising experience of grace.
