A sick baby and anniversary of the accident

Last night Ahti's fever got worse. A while before taking this pic I measured 39,4 C. We used moist wipes to cool him down, removed the rest of his clothes and gave more medicine. When the fever was high he was very passive, mostly just sat still for long times. The medicine and other methods worked well and within 2-3 hours he didn't have any fever.

In the morning we visited doctor. During day we gave Ahti medicine twice when it's effect ceased. But in the evening the fever got close to 39 again. It looks like another "night shift".

One year ago I had a severe accident at work and my forearm was damaged badly. It has recovered well considering the damage but it won't be the same as before. It seems unlikely that I will be able to continue working as a timberjack.
