Polarization

Driving past this majestic building I just couldn't resist to grab my Nikon from the passenger seat and take a freehand shot through my side window.

Just couldn't wait to get home and see the result… and when I did I saw this surprise…

Dark shadows in the left top corner. Didn't know where that came from, but it was there in all the motor drive shots I made.

The only explanation I have is I still had my circular polarization filter on my lens and my car windows are tinted, resulting in these weird zebra shadows.

Taking an extra look at it I realized I actually liked the unintended surrealism very much, thus making it my blip for today.

Anybody ever had a similar experience? Tell me! I learn from it ;-)
