3rd Christmas celebration tonight.............dinner with D and V and B and S.

We booked and ordered weeks ago....so of course none of us could remember what we'd ordered.

3 prawn, Parma ham and melon, 1 stuffed mushroom and 2 pate starters....so of course I got the mushrooms....which turned out to be stuffed with courgette etc......obviously the veggie starter, so no way it could be mine......but no-one was giving up what they'd got in front of them.

2 roast beef, 1 veggie lasagne, 1 salmon and 2 turkey mains........I made sure I got a beef!

3 cheese boards, 1 Xmas pud and 1 bread and butter pudding.......cheese for me.

Several beers too.....good company....good conversation....good food...but the highlight came when the bill arrived. B worked out each couple owed £28....we'd already paid a deposit.....the Boss whipped out our vouchers from the quiz.......£20 each for D & V and us....so all we had to pay was £8 per couple.....B's face was a picture!

Home to find the Daughter just finishing wrapping her presents...so that's the blip today!

2 more get ups....two fairly relaxed days......staff night out tomorrow...with the lovely hebs on my arm....a vision in red....her, not me!
