Introducing Emily

I spend the day in Glendalough ( The Glen of the two lakes), an early 6th Christian settlement set in a beautiful valley in the Wicklow hills. Was entertaining my sister in law in from Canada for Christmas.......The weather was clear as we drove through the Wicklow Gap and while we wandered the monastic settlement and the coming storm Emily only gently introduced herself as we finished our walk around the lakes...
Had a very pleasant lunch in Lynhams in Laragh, a place recommended by a friend. She seemingly has good taste...
Drove on down to Clara Vale and stopped to light candles in the little church there which was dark, unlit, unlocked and magical...
Then into the woods where I managed a more formal introduction to a more robust Emily.... Got soaked to the skin getting photos of the woods...but well worth it as my friend likes the misty woods...
Ready for a high tide tomorrow at 12:30... Will be there to see her perform and do her worst....and her best......just saying
