Red hot

40 degrees today and the perfect time to skip class (if any were running) and head for the beach - I opted for ditching work as it was the last day for me.

This fellow - no idea what type of bird it is - and it's mate were feeding on the grasses and all I could think about was how hot the sand was and how can they stand it.

My grateful today has to be that my leave starts tomorrow :)
