Help for Heroes maybe?

I didn't know until the latest newsletter from the NHS Blood Transfusion Service that blood from the UK goes to Afghanistan, and other military bases around the world.
Makes it seem all the more worth while doing it if you can. Not everyone can donate blood of course, lots of reasons why you are not allowed or able to, but it's one of those things that takes such a little time and effort if are can.
