Round the Bend

I hadn't noticed before that the canal makes such a tight bend behind Kings Cross. I expect that if the narrow boats were going too fast around this curve in the old days they would have skidded off!

There is so much new development happening around here. There is Central St Martins and Kings Place. And a pocket park called Skip Park has been opened with planting in skips and a yurt. It has a café which may be worth a try sometime. You can tell the locality is being embourgoisified* because a new Waitrose is under construction.


*Don't know if its a word -I just thought of it.
