Fast flows the Cart

With all the rain the Cart is flowing fast and somewhere in the midst of the vortex two ducks are paddling up towards the waterfall. They are just visible near the brown vegetation.

This is the White Cart and like the Blue Danube it does not live up to the colour. In days gone by it was filthy with effluent from factories all the way from Glasgow to Renfrew. Now it is much cleaner but mud and floating vegetation have turned it brown.

I hope the ducks reached their intended destination, wherever it was.
