STORM BREWING

Seems a good time to hang out in the kitchen, play about with some coriander seeds and a blue bowl.

To the University today to meet with some lovely colleagues to plot and plan. Later to weight watchers where I found that inspite of following the programme to the letter I had gained a pound. I was in the room with the mince pies and never touched one - honest. As they say in economic reports, however, the overall trend is downwards.

Now battening down for the storm. This time I am glad all our smoke detectors are disconnected- they have a tendency to go off in high wind.
