Festive Fun

Christmas is coming up all too quick! We know because today marked the Division's Festive fun day when Secret Santa arrived ( chocolates and a gingerbread man tie for me- lovely!), the answers to the Christmas quiz (I got 10.5 out of 12) and the wooden spoon for the silliest of answers, various competitions and the cake sale, where my attempt at tablet was voted tastiest.

All in a good cause and the organising committee (we're civil servants - we have to have a committee) raised over £230 for a local youth group in Leith.

The day was rounded off with a social gathering in the Scottish Parliament - hosted by a blipper- and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues before some headed off for the Festive break. Very enjoyable and a good end to the day.

Well not quite the end. Still some Christmas cards to write.
