Unusual B&B

I walked this morning in Samois sur Seine, starting along the river, then walking up the hill into upper Samois, followed the road through the village then dropped down to the river again, where I passed this barge, converted into a chambre d'hote. It has this lovely covered deck and also a deck up on top. The pictures of the inside look really nice too. I thought it made quite a nice Christmas image since its painted red and currently bedecked with a Christmas tree. The rest of the day was spent doing housework and ironing and packing ready for our trip to England for the holidays. The afternoon warmed up quite nicely today under sunny skies and I even opened the window in the bedroom (which is south-facing) for a while to get a change of air.
