A little light reading

I usually start books like this with great enthusiasm and then lose interest/concentration after a couple of chapters - we'll see how I get on with this. A friend of mine spent some time as a student in this field and has donated his textbooks to the local charity who host our youth group, so there is a shelf full of serious-sounding books on sexuality and gender waiting to be read.
