Black Cap

there hasn't been much space for Blipping, and most of today has been taken up with interviewing in a neighbouring parish. Interviewing in another parish tomorrow, so that's the day off taken care of! Anyway, saw all my usual visitors to the bird feeder this morning, including a pair of Chaffinches which are new to my garden and this Black Cap. I don't recall seeing one before, so was quite glad when the first picture I turned up in my RSPB book confirmed my identification. I don't usually put bread out, but this was full of seeds for the birds.

I'll catch up when I can, but it might not be until after Christmas!
