"SUNSET"

This shot was taken from our second story window. Evidence of the damage from Hurricane Sandy can be seen in the remains of the three ivy covered trees in the bottom left of the photo.

We were the lucky ones since even though we were without power for 8 days the 4 huge trees (65-70 feet tall) and many other branches that fell - fell away from the house. Only one grazed the side of the house knocking down the deck roof, fence and gutter. Over the years we had them pruned so that this would happen. It worked as the tree experts said it would!
