Bracket Fungus

My sister spotted this fungus this morning when we were having a short walk in Pollok Park. No other trees in the vicinity had any obvious signs of fungal growth - this particular tree has two growths, the one pictured here and the other was right down at ground level but it looked a bit weather beaten.
