Knock Knock

The door knocker at Packwood House. Today in bright sunshine, even though it will be mid-winter tomorrow. I like the way the Lion appears to be sleeping in anticipation of the daylight getting longer from the day after tomorrow.

Partly an experiment, but using a tripod has improved the image quality much more than I was expecting.

Packwood has a number of features which might attract photographers and/or artists, particularly the several sundials and wall clocks, so I expect I'll be going back there for a few more blips over the next year or so.
