Two ladies, one man and no flowers...

... according to our waiter tonight, there was only one thing missing from that above. The more amusing thing at dinner, however, was watching one woman have dinner with three moustachio-ed, lime green top-wearing gents and speculate about the relationships between them.

Big day today. Saw the magnificent Aya Sofia, Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque before having a wander around the Grand Bazaar.

Astounded at the contrast between these amazing feats of architecture and design, and the fact that the societies that produce them can still treat women as second class citizens. The female area in the Blue Mosque is pitifully small, and women who dare to venture into the male prayer area are hounded out by security guards.
