..........can Spring be far behind" ( Percy Bysshe Shelley). As we approach what is usually the coldest part of any year, it was great to see this lovely little primrose flowering - in the sunshine - in the garden today.

Because I love yellow flowers, I'm going to treat myself to a couple of bunches of daffodils this weekend - I always bought a bunch for my mother, usually on Christmas Eve.

Anni is on one of missions - Scotland this time - which is not one of her favourites. I just hope there are not too many mad drivers on the road, getting away for an early start to Christmas!

A cold, windy day here. but beautifully sunny - the temperature was not particularly low but the wind was biting!
