Keith Floyd probably got me into cooking. He blew away the preconceptions of cooking as a black art; I mean let's face it if that piss head could throw together something delicious whilst steamin' then it couldn't have been that hard. Certainly his was the first "celebrity" cook book I ever got.... and yes you can throw good food together whilst you are pissed.

I remember him on one series (America I think) when he had an epic battle with a fish that eventually got away. He declared that he had his health, a bible and a full set of Stranglers albums......but he still wanted that bloody fish.
