A Lert?

She could hear something that I couldn't... was it a fox? the birds were certainly creating all around us.. was it a deer? tiptoeing away from us.. was it someone else walking in the woods.. something has her attention!!

Wow.. well today was sooooo busy in the Foodbank. It was good to have so many people go away a little happier today than when they walked in. I just wonder how many people missed the noon deadline for collecting their food bags today. We were flat out with double the number of volunteers that we normally have both with sending food out and also receiving it in. There has been a huge response from the local people and they are donating very generously to our cause. At least today wasn't the last day that we are open. We open once more on Christmas Eve but then not until after New Year. It will be a difficult time for some.

Finished my Christmas shopping now and so this evening will be concentrating on the wrapping.. light the fire, turn up the carols.. lets go :)
