TOO MUCH COLOSSEUM

Last time we were in Italy Alice was in utero and Rudy was just three. It was blazing hot and wonderful - we often speculate that Alice's temperament was formed in those early days: all fiery and Italian.

We are in Rome for 4 nights and then traveling through to Umbria for the rest of our holiday. We will start 2014 in one of my favourite places in the world. 2013 has been tough and I will welcome 2014 with open arms, a glass of Prosecco, and my guys.
