Not the sharpest tool in the box

Greyhounds are utterly delightful creatures; affectionate, gentle, elegant, lazy and at times endearingly dense.

I bought an enormous and luxurious bed for Lizzie in an attempt to keep her off my bed at night. It is plenty big enough for her to stretch out her long legs - and I've tried it out, it's very comfortable. She hasn't quite yet worked out that she doesn't have to lie with her bum or her feet out of the bed. Big test tonight - what's the betting I end up in her bed and she on mine.

So I'm done for Christmas, everyone got paid, no cock ups, no wrongly input bank details, I can't quite believe it myself. It has been a long month, but I have enjoyed it, and it is worth it all to get the end of term feeling. I've missed that.

Tonight, curry and champagne.
