Hound Tor - a first ascent?

A bright clear morning with a cold wind getting stronger and colder the further we got from the car. Hound Tor itself provides a series of granite boulders to please any scrambler - especially two under ten boys although perhaps not an under four girl!
Then on down to the deserted mediaeval village which was impressive in itself and finishing with the Cairn and Cist. Almost an educational walk and certainly an enjoyable one.
