Exercising the imagination

I had to go out early this morning and on my way home (still early) I stopped off in Five Bridges Road. The dreaded Hockley traffic lights used to intersect here with the Winchester Bypass, making the spot a total grief-machine. Now it is just somewhere people exercise with their dogs, children and cycles. And where the mist likes to linger on frosty mornings.

To me my image for today is the start of a story, but I'm not sure where it's going.. (I think the image is nice in Large, you can see all the drips and more of the light detail)
