Olive Leaf Tea

I've been researching which teas can help to boost your immune system. This is one of them from a tree that can grow to a very robust old age. Olive leaves have compounds which are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and its been used in the Mediterranean for centuries as a general tonic. It alledgedly contains more anti-oxidants and vitamin C than green tea - plus it is caffeine and tannin free.

I've used whole leaves here, but you can buy them chopped up in teabag form, too. It had a delicate flavour with a light brew but turns darker and more citrussy the longer you steep it. I'm hoping it will defend me from most common 'lerrgies this Winter.
