Tree of lost soles

Bit of a back blip sorry

Pass this tree occasionally on my way through Warrington. I assume this is a way of remembering those that have lost their lives near the busy main road.

I found a couple of posts about this on the internet and it seems it was just an art project for somebody, however the shoes that are on here originally were ones found by the creator whilst walking his dog.
