Christmas Present

My youngest got this from his teacher today as a Christmas present. All 21 kids or whatever were given something similar. His teacher is a lovely woman, and a superb teacher, giving up countless hours of her own time and energy to dream up ideas to keep the kids motivated and learning, each according to their own capabilities. As do most teachers. That's why they need and deserve the holidays they get - so they can recharge their batteries and continue to inspire and develop young minds. Yet all you see in the media is garbage about schools, failing, bad teaching, declining standards etc etc, usually coming from the mouths of right wing politicians and rags like the Daily Mail and the Telegraph. Ignore them and look at this as a true reflection of what happens in schools and be thankful that these schools are full of the kind of teacher who does this year after year.
