Stephen, all washed out

A long day in the cafe for son Huw and his helpers, cooking and serving a three course meal for 16 people. It was a special Christmas event using mainly surplus food as usual together with a few items bought in.

The meal required ingenuity in the planning (some guests were vegetarian or gluten-intolerant), the execution (only one oven) and the service (limited space).

Here's Stephen, our heroic washer-upper, taking a break. A man of many parts, he's probably wishing he was out at sea watching porpoises and dolphins or snatching a glimpse of the otters that have recently been seen in the harbour. We're all grateful for his good humour and endurance at the sink.
