First Day of Winter !?

In a departure from my norm, I decided today to publish my daily picture early ... might be too dark to take a decent photo later anyway!

Yes, officially its the first day of winter, but its also the day when some daisies have appeared on our lawn! Not sure why, but there they are, absolutely soaked from the recent rain storm, but blooming merrily!

Just shows that some things (and even people) can shine in the darkest of times!

I had a problem of deciding which one of these 3 flowers to focus on - so I tried all three in turn and this one worked out the best. I guess that can be true of opportunities in life too!
