Calm during the storm.

After yesterday's stormy weather it got worse this morning with thunder, lightning and hailstones. The Saturday market had to be abandoned shortly after they set it up. Then, unexpectedly, it was as if the eye of the storm passed over and gave us a spot of sunshine and just enough time to nip outside for a photo. We had to go down to the theatre for some new programmes and noticed how high the water was. The shoreline is normally around about where the bow of the boats are at the moment. We haven't seen it so high since the floods of 2009. The boathouse apartment is partly submerged, not good! By all accounts we're in for more of the same for the next few days. Lets hope not.
