Mary and Joseph were visited by Angels...

The time has come again for my blips to go seasonal.

The Angels visit Joseph and Mary.

A strange star appeared over the house of Joseph and Mary glowing and pulsating shining it's light down upon the couple.
It came to pass that the Angel Gabriel and his little helper (Miss Maddi) came down to earth and visited Joseph and Mary.
They told them to "get their Ass to Bethlehem" where Mary will give birth to a baby boy.
Joseph was very skeptical as he knew that Mary was still a virgin, (a big surprise in Brierley Hill by the way). They told her she was to be visited by many different people (and Animals) when they got there.
"Not Sheep" said Mrs BM Mary, "I don't know" said the little angle, "but there will be some Shepherds, you never know they might leave the sheep behind?"
" I do hope so, last year the inn keepers wife went off on one because of those sheep", "Never mind" said Joseph, "they will keep us lovely and warm in that Summer House Stable". "But their bleating kept me up all night last year.

At that the Angels rose into the sky and vanished into the night.

The couple gathered there belongings together and harnessed the Donkey and off they trotted.
We must get married first said Mary If I am to have a child, so they stopped of at the local Registry office and took their vows.

It was a very long way to Bethlehem and Joseph didn't think the Donkey could cope with all that weight, (opps sorry Mrs BM), but never the less away the went.

What adventures will they have when they are in Bethlehem I wonder?
