Riding

I catch the #179 bus regularly down to Woodford, but it goes all the way to Ilford. Today I stayed on to see just where. Also, at Ilford the library had an exhibition 'Redbridge in Maps' showing some very early maps of Essex, and of this area, which went from rural to suburbia, seemingly almost overnight. There are some very fine rows of Edwardian houses around Woodford.

At the museum I found out more about Wanstead Park too, and feel I need to give it another look.
